Siddhas do things that even the Lord had not done!

Have you ever been to Saturagiri or Podhigai or Kolli hill? If so, you can consider yourself fortunate. You can rest assured that you have had the blessings of the siddhas. The destiny of anyone will change for the better if he has had the blessings of a siddha. Siddhas do things that even the Lord had not done. This is really a great thing happening with the blessings of the Lord! The Lord wishes certain things to be accomplished by the siddhas, His messengers! In ancient times, God appeared before some selected humans and blessed them with deliverance from their miseries. But, this is Kaliyug. God will not appear before anybody, but, He helps His devotees through siddhas. If we pray to a particular siddha earnestly, our prayers are granted by the Lord through that particular siddha. There are many siddhas even today, with supernatural powers. It is believed that there are around 85,000 siddhas present in India.

Out of these 85,000 siddhas, 18 are considered as outstanding. And, these 18 are under the direction of sage Agasthya. And, there are powerful siddhas like Pathanjali, Sattainatha,Sundaranantha, Gorakkar, Kongana, Kamalamuni, Bogar, Idaikkadar, Pampatti siddha,Dhanvanthri, Ramadeva, Thirumoola, Thembaiyar, Machamuni, Kakapujanda, Uromamuni and Kavangirinatha.

They are moving around the country as a jivan. How do they come, in what form they come, when will they come? Nobody can tell. But it is an irrefutable truth that all these siddhas are with us even today! Lord Siva helps the mankind taking the form of a siddha!

Siddhas are very merciful. They’ll help the humans even to the extent of changing their destinies. Siddhas are that powerful. It is very difficult to identify them though we are their great friends! We’ve no saviors other than the Siddhas is an indisputable truth.

Lord Siva is the Lord of all the Siddhas. Though He is the God, He takes the form of a Siddha and helps the mankind in many ways. You may wonder how this is possible. It is very simple – anything can be achieved through prayers. Whoever prays to Siddhas earnestly, unmindful of his miseries, he’ll definitely be saved from his miseries. Meditation on the Gods might take a longer time to bring results, the one, who meditates should have staunch faith and patience till that time. But God helps His devotees through Siddhas. If the Siddhas do not act immediately due to some reason despite our earnest prayers, in that case, the God Himself assumes some form and relieves His devotee from his misery. Many incidents have taken place substantiating this statement.

Balamuruga had staunch faith in God from his early days. He was born in a very poor family. He used to bathe in the river daily in the early morning, worship the Vinayaka idol under the pipal tree near the riverbank with flowers and pray. Lord Siva wanted to know what the prayer of this small boy was. He took the form of an old beggar. He lied down in front of the Vinayaka idol. He was in a dirty dhoti, had a stick in his hand and had a torn woolen covering. He looked as though he had not bathed for ten days. The boy came with some jaggery to be offered as nivedhana to Vinayaka. He was annoyed to see the beggar lying before Vinayaka.

He tried to wake him up but the beggar did not even move. Balamuruga prayed to Vinayaka, “Lord Vinayaka, please forgive me. Please give deliverance from poverty to my family. We are having only one meal daily. My mother is having tuberculosis and is nearing death. My father is a daily labor, but he doesn’t have work daily. My younger sister is very weak due to lack of food. She doesn’t have dresses even to change. I am the only person in the family who is comparatively doing well. But I lack brains to study.   Vinayaka, you know well that I work late nights at a provision shop and out of the money I earn, I buy medicines for my mother and buy jaggery for you with the left-over money. I feel that I can starve, but you shouldn’t starve. But today, this beggar is lying before you, creating problem in offering the nivedhana. I had starved on many days, but I had never allowed you to starve even for a single day. Now, how will I offer my nivedhana?” The boy placed the jaggery on a nearby stone and paid obeisance to Vinayaka. At that time, the beggar took the jaggery and started eating. The boy burst into tears that Vinayaka had to starve that day. On seeing the boy crying, the beggar told him not to cry and consoled him telling that it didn’t make any difference whether he ate the jaggery or Vinayaka ate it. But the boy could not be consoled. He left the place saying that he and his sister would also starve because Vinayaka had been made to starve.

Lord Siva, moved by the boy’s staunch faith, decided to bless him. One and a half months passed by.  Suddenly a man, claiming himself to be a relative, took the boy and his family to some other place. He bequeathed all his property worth many crores of rupees to Balamuruga and was not to be seen thereafter. It was Lord Siva, a Siddha, who came as a relative. Today, that boy is a big shot in Mumbai. He had constructed temples for Lord Siva and Vinayaka. He is pursuing spiritual activities even today.

This is not a story out of my imagination. It is a true story that took place with the blessings of Lord Siva. The Lord is with us even today, though we are not able to identify Him. He participates in our troubles and miseries and blesses us with deliverance from the same.

  2. I read your postings. It was amazing. So many miracles. You cleared the air on a lot of misconceptions about the nadi. I have begun to have a better understanding of the sidhas and their nadi and predictions. Thank you very much for posting them.
I understand from your writings that the blessed gentleman in possession of the nadi had shared the contents of the nadi readings to you and you asked for the blessings of Agathiyar to post these readings for the benefit of mankind; to understand the workings of the sidhas and the nadi.
    Great work. Thanks again.
